Cameron specialises in acute and chronic musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injury diagnosis and rehabilitation. He has a keen interest in the interrelationship between developing neuromotor control and growing pains, and prevention of overuse injury in the developing youth athlete.
Outcome following orthopaedic joint replacement surgery, ACL reconstruction or non-operative rehabilitation, muscle - tendon repair, spinal surgery, shoulder stabilisation, and TMJ trauma will be optimised by Cameron’s care.
Cameron has 28 years of physiotherapy experience, including expertise gained over 10 seasons diagnosing and rehabilitating athletes within the High-Performance pathways for Australian Rugby Union Sevens and National Rugby Age group programmes, and culminating as Australian Men’s Rugby Sevens Team Physiotherapist at Glasgow Commonwealth Games, 2014.
His approach considers the often-multifactorial contribution to injury, and the milestones required for successful rehabilitative outcome, which is often the key for people choosing to access our services when progress has been less favourable elsewhere.
As part of his Postgraduate Research Masters with Distinction investigating the acute management of ankle and foot injuries, Cameron mentors and collaborates with other physiotherapy team members to maximise outcome for these, as well as other injuries.
Referral accepted from Medicare plan, CTP, DVA, NDIS and WorkCover.
