Cameron Watson

Cameron was awarded the professional title of Australian Physiotherapy Association Sports Physiotherapist, via the experiential pathway in 2015. He completed a Postgraduate Masters of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) at Sydney University by Research in 2008, achieving Distinction, with clinical research investigating the acute management of sporting ankle injuries. Clinical interests include Orthopaedics, Sports injuries and Musculoskeletal rehabilitation, as well as strengthening programs for complex conditions, kids, teens and adults.

Cameron represented Australia at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, as Physiotherapist for the Men's Rugby Union Sevens Team who achieved Bronze. This was the culmination of experiences as team Physiotherapist at two previous Commonwealth Youth Games (2004 & 2011), and several seasons working with the Men's Australian Rugby Union Sevens Team during the International World Series (2010-11; Physiotherapist Coordinator 2011-12, 2012-13). Cameron also assisted the Wallabies Medical Team prior to the 2013 Bledesloe Cup Series, and provided services to the International Referees at the 2012 & 2013 Australia V England and V Samoa Test Matches.

Cameron graduated in 1994, and has worked in rural and remote regions of NSW, including The Royal Flying Doctor Service out of Broken Hill, and abroad in the United Kingdom for 2 years. Since 2000, Cameron has applied his Sports Physiotherapy expertise within the Menai District, and established ELITE Physiotherapy Exercise & Rehabilitation at Menai Central Business Centre in 2008.

Kate Holmes

B.App.Sc. (Physio). A.P.A.M
Clinic Manager & Co-Director since 2009

Awarded the Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 1994 at Sydney University, Kate’s interests include orthopaedic and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and she has developed expertise in the management of Neurological and Vestibular (Dizziness) Balance Disorders.

Most recently, Kate worked for 8 years at St Vincent’s Hospital Darlinghurst, NSW as Senior Physiotherapist in Acute Neurology, Neurosurgery, ENT and Rehabilitation wards. Kate provided assistance to the medical team with diagnosing and treating various conditions resulting in disturbance of balance, vertigo and dizziness, and spasticity.

Kate is one of three preferred physiotherapists in The Illawarra Region, and the only one in The Sutherland Shire providing assistance to ENT Specialists and their clients suffering from Vertigo and Imbalance, NSW wide. There are many causes of dizziness that require different strategies to control the acute symptoms, and to prevent future episodes.

People suffering from ongoing dizziness and disruption to wellbeing will find a solution using Kate’s expertise.

Angela Stoneham

Angela was awarded a Bachelor of Physiotherapy by La Trobe University in 1995. Trained predominantly in her home City of Melbourne, Angela has an expertise in the rehabilitation of lower and upper limb musculoskeletal injury, reducing headaches, neck and back pain, and assisting reattainment of movement and strength following orthopaedic joint replacement and spinal surgery. Angela played a pivotal role in physiotherapy student supervision and education in Public hospitals, and has a keen interest in assisting patients in maximising wellbeing when managing chronic musculoskeletal and cardiothoracic conditions.

Angela currently resides with her husband and 3 children in Menai. She enjoys swimming, boating, and family holidays. Patients with musculoskeletal problems, and those referred under Medicare Plans, WorkCover, Third Party and DVA (Veterans Affairs) will greatly benefit from Angela’s expertise.

Michael Hely

Michael was awarded a Masters in Physiotherapy from Sydney University in 2014. He combines his knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and cardiothoracic conditions with his expertise in exercise rehabilitation to assist clients with acute and chronic conditions in achieving more rapid functional gains and return to wellbeing.

A keen endurance Triathlete, Michael represented Australia in Perth at the 2009 world long course championships, and has finetuned his knowledge of movement technique and sports performance in the role of coach’s assistant for Junior Triathletes in the Sydney Junior Triathlon Academy. In 2013, Michael developed acute injury management skills as Physiotherapist aid attending the Sutherland Netball Association competition,

Michael brings knowledge of 10 years of playing Rugby league, as well as 16 years of ongoing cricket participation to compliment his understanding of preparing for sports participation. Other interests include surfing, sailing, wakeboarding and snowboarding.

Young cricketers, cyclists, swimmers, and runners, and people seeking assistance with acute and chronic upper and lower limb injury, or requiring rehabilitation following orthopaedic, neck and spinal surgery will benefit from Michael’s expertise. People referred under Medicare Plans, WorkCover, Third Party and DVA (Veterans Affairs) will also benefit.
